I am most definitely usually a lurker and not a poster but the complete lack of information I can find regarding private servers for Aion has me frustrated lol. Read some older posts about how populated and awesome they were, but is it still like that now? Also I'm only an English speaker and not too savvy when it comes to downloading stuff and having to tweak it all up to get it to work.

Translated: if I can find one where I can pretty much download the client for it or whatever and it run fine without me diddling it and breaking my computer, the better lol. Clients are hard to find.

I just learned about Aion and started developing a personal server for fun.If you want to find a 4.5 server, you’ll have to find a 4.5 private server that hosts a download link to a 4.5 client. Same goes for all versions.Most private servers are, if not entirely, foreign speaking with small populations of maybe a few hundred at most if they’re lucky. Aion just isn’t as popular anymore.With that being said, be very careful what server you choose to spend hours/days on as it can go down at anytime and you’ll lose all that progress forever.
